BENT OXEN SNOWBOARDING – BUCK HILL BOARDERCROSS #2 🏂🔥

12 Feb by Tom ONeill

What a perfect day at Buck Hill Boardercross 2! The sun was out, the snow was fast, and the vibes were at an all-time high. Watching our BENT OXEN riders throw down was an absolute blast for Coach Mike and me. But more than anything, we’re proud of the energy you bring to every race—the way you push each other, support all riders, and make this sport more fun and inclusive for everyone.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE DAY

- Arlo had a blazing fast time trial and was locked in all day. A tough start in the final cost him the top spot, but he still fought to a solid second place!

Jay was absolutely dialed in and looked fast all day, but sometimes in boardercross, you get boardercrossed. Tough break, but he showed he can win by crushing the rest of the field in the small final. Podiums are coming for this guy—soon.

- Carter came out swinging! Aggressive, determined, and fearless, he earned himself a well-deserved podium—pretty impressive considering this was his first BX weekend ever!

Charli once again put on a clinic. If you want to learn how to ride BX, watch Charli Tate.

Cian was calm, collected, and locked in. He showed great composure in a stacked division and was a great teammate all day.

Seve delivered one of the most exciting finals of the day! His pass in the final stretch for 2nd place had the crowd going wild.

Piper made it look easy. But let’s be real—winning isn’t easy. She just makes it look that way. Another gold medal performance!

Reese brought her amazing energy, making the day better for everyone. Oh, and she threw down a blazing run that left the course smoking.

Carrick was smooth and fast from top to bottom. On top of that, he was a huge help to me and Coach Mike getting riders’ boards waxed and the team hyped!

Seamus had a little extra adventure. After a crash in time trials, he got some bonus track time by running an LCQ before going on to dominate the finals.

Drew used the day to remind Coach Cody from G-TEAM what open-class riding is all about. After his crash in their first race, she even gave him a re-match—just to make it even more clear who the champion is.

Cole closed out an incredible weekend. Saturday: 1st in BX. Saturday Night: 1st in Big Air. Sunday: 1st in BX again. Just a ridiculous multiple-discipline sweep.
