Saturday morning, Coach Mike set the tone: “It’s going to be a ‘Wild’ day at Buck Hill today.” And man, was he right. The Wild Mountain / BENT OXEN crew showed up, rode hard, and put on a dominant performance.
This whole crew trains hard, and it shows. Our riders bring grit, speed, and skill to every race, but what sets this team apart is how they do it—with kindness, respect, and a love for the sport. They support each other, push each other, and cheer on every rider on the hill. That’s what makes this group special.
The fresh snow made for an interesting track, but we adapted, found the fast lines, and took home EIGHT first-place finishes. It was a massive showing for our squad! Shoutout to Coach Mike for putting in the work all season getting this team dialed in for success.

LOOKING AHEAD – SUNDAY’s RACE
We’re back at it tomorrow! Let’s meet in the main chalet at 9:00 AM to get ready.
If you’re waxing tonight, prepare for new snow with temps ranging from 12°F to 20°F during race time. I’m going with Swix HS5 Turquoise, a solid choice for these conditions. Get those boards dialed in!
FINAL TAKEAWAY
Today was a statement. BENT OXEN showed up, raced hard, and proved why we’re one of the best teams out there. But beyond the wins, what stands out the most is this team’s work ethic, attitude, and sportsmanship. They push each other to be better, support every rider on the hill, and race with heart.
Proud of every single one of you! Let’s do it again tomorrow! 🚀🏂🔥
